New Camera, laptop fixed...

Well I got my birthday camera and my laptop is fixed but not in my possession yet (and it needs a new charger). My husband rigged the old computer up to his big screen tv so that I can at least check my email until I get the laptop back.

Soon...yes, soon things will be back to normal...

I am the beecharmer...

This little guy decided to hitch a ride on me for about 45 minutes. He sat on my shoulder and walked around on my fingertips. He waited patiently on my shirt while I walked into the house and was content to just hang out for a while---completely freaking my husband out. It was so funny to watch a grown man run around yelling to get it away from him!

This is a gypsy moth I mingled with while on my honeymoon in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Trees on the Appalachian Trail

My camera is having some issues with its auto-focus function so until I can get it repaired, I may not have alot to post.

The biggest coat rack I've ever seen...

Oh no!

OK so I don't think I've missed a day posting since I started this a few weeks ago but last night I got a migraine at 7:30. In an act of defiance, and a little "F You" at the migraine, I decided to stay upright and journal the whole experience. It's kind of interesting to see the timeline that I go through whenever this happens. So here's what I wrote last night:

I'm going to do something I've never done before. I'm journaling through a migraine to see exactly what I go through and how long it takes to happen.  I may not be able to read this when I feel better but I want to try it as long I can stand to sit up. I've taken two excedrin migraine caps. Lets see where this goes...

7:40---Started to feel my vision changing
7:46---Lost hand eye coordination completely. I can see my hands but they don't feel like they're connected to me. It's really weird.
7:48---Lost connection between my head and upper body (from my neck to my waist is completely numb) Feeling really tight in my face and temples.
7:50--- Put a cold herb pack from the freezer on my head. Smells like mint.
7:53---Completely sensitive to light and sound. My ears, eyes, and head are totally throbbing now. My body feels really weak and I've got a blind spot starting now. I'm going to have to go lay down. Even my jaws are hurting. Plus I am having a really hared time seeing the screen and keys,
7:55---Losing feeling in the tip of my right ring finger and upper legft leg

That was the last I was able to write before I couldn't stand to hold my eyes open any longer. Not that it mattered---I couldn't really see anyway! It's times like these I'm thankful my middle school computer teacher was so strict. I'm actually shocked I didn't make more mistakes but I remember backspacing alot knowing that it didn't feel right when I was typing. I'll never really forget where all the keys are but once you can't feel your hands or see the keyboard---you really have no clue what keys you're hitting.

So by 11pm I finally woke up, got off the couch, and went to bed---to toss and turn for the rest of the night.

I still feel a little poopy today...

Here's a few pictures.....

These pictures are of a very tiny crab and an anemone that I ran across while on my honeymoon in the Turks and Caicos Islands. It's hard to grasp how little they were but---not one of these little creatures was longer than an inch and a half!

**At first I thought they were two different little crabs but I realized he had just turned around to curse me in the second one. :)
